Compare your left side to your right side.

SymmetrySense straps a sensor to each shin and turns three guided movement tests into one honest Symmetry Score — so you know if you're actually getting better, not just guessing.

The protocol

Ten minutes, three tests, one number.

Every assessment follows the same guided sequence, so results stay comparable from one week to the next.

01

Pair two pods

Attach a lightweight sensor to each shin and connect both over Bluetooth in a few seconds.

02

Complete three guided tests

Walking, Sit-to-Stand, and Single-Leg Balance — each one narrated step by step on your phone.

03

See your Symmetry Score

One combined score, plus the single area — your Primary Limitation — that's holding recovery back.

Why not just average the three scores

A geometric mean, so one bad number can't hide.

A simple average lets a strong score quietly cover for a weak one. Walking 100, Strength 100, Balance 20 still averages to a reassuring 73 — even though one side of the body is barely functioning.

SymmetrySense multiplies the three scores together and takes the cube root instead. The same result drops to 58, and the app tells you exactly which test pulled it down — your Primary Limitation — instead of burying it in an average.

Your body is the control group.

Population averages don't know your stride. Every score is measured against the side of you that already works.

What this is, and isn't

Awareness and progress tracking — not a diagnosis.

SymmetrySense provides movement information for general awareness and progress tracking. It does not diagnose an injury, prescribe treatment, or determine whether an activity is safe. Stop any test that causes pain, instability, dizziness, or concern, and keep working with your physical therapist or physician.
